God said to me today, “Never let the affirmation of man be louder than the Affirmation of God.”
The affirmation God speaks aligns with our identity in Christ. His affirmation tells us who we are & whats available to us as his daughters & sons.
When we allow the world to affirm us it can ONLY affirm our FLESH & attack our idenity in Christ. The lust of the flesh, the pride of life & the lust of the eyes. The world wants you to create idols of yourself & the things of the world. The world can never and will never affirm your identity in Christ. The world affirms our flesh which boost ego, pride & makes our “heads big” The world will say you are beautiful only when you’re dressed up. You’re not good enough. You need to have a million followers in order to be seen.
BUT When God affirms us it doesn’t ever boost our head, it boost our confidence in who he’s called us to be. It boost our understanding and knowledge of who we are in Christ. His affirmation speaks to our Spirit. In Romans 8:16, it says that “For his Spirit joins with our spirit to affirm that we are God’s children.” His affirmation tells us that we are above & not beneath, we are the head & not the tail, we are lenders & not borrowers, we are chosen, we are royalty, you are beautiful, we are holy, we are righteous in Christ, we are loved, we are seen, we are called, we are seated in heavenly realms in Christ.
